About b feronia

My middle name Feronia, after the goddess of freedom, absolutely influenced my personal and professional life. I went exploring the minute I could walk and I love the inspiration from encounters with new people, places and experiences! Freedom to explore has always been a large part of my professional passion as well. Most visibly in seeing possibilities and creating opportunities for others to develop.

Over 25 years I have set up (re)new(ed) products, concepts, services and partnerships. I created marketing and business development strategies for (international) companies, ngo’s and social enterprises. My explorations led me to Ethiopia and Uganda where I shared my marketing and entrepreneurial skills with many young professionals.

“My many encounters with aspirational entrepreneurs sparked the wish to share my marketing strategy knowhow and skills with even more people. Enabling them to create a marketable business concept out of their ideas as the first, big, step towards realising their ambitions.”

b feronia’s Journal Course reflects my love for simplifying complex matters, experimenting and creating new varieties. It includes a lot of practical experience and know how I gained through the years. All with the aim to share with you and to enable you to transform your idea(s) into a marketable business concept.

I define myself as a clarifier. That is to me not a skill or talent but a characteristic. I dive into subjects and have an urge to find the heart of it all, so I ask a lot of questions. It shows itself by being creative in every aspect of my live. No, my hair is not lilac like my logo but I make art, I take photographs of what makes me giggle, I upcycle, curate my home, and I write about what I see as being unclear. Mostly I question the definitions we shape our lives around. We seem to think we are on the same page by using them but often we just talk completely past each other. If I think what fascinates me may inspire others, I share it via Pinterest and Substack.
