Cracking a problem – flowing honey

In my work I enjoy deducting a problem in such a way that the solution seems obvious. It excites me even more when I see the result of peoples ‘this should be solved’ attitude. An invention that has made it to my to do list (when I have a garden) is the Flow Hive. Invented by beekeepers Cedar and Stuart Anderson from Australia. It took them nearly ten years but they kept going. Their purpose? Harvesting honey made easy for bees and beekeeper. Cedar, who has been beekeeping since he was six, always wandered why he had to hurt the bees. Turned out there is a better way.

See their website for more information about harvesting honey, made easy and lot’s of information about beekeeping.
